Seattle and Northwest Washington are among the fastest growing areas in the nation, and an essential part of accommodating the region's continued economic expansion is the introduction of a new choice in passenger air travel at Paine Field. The airport's convenient location makes it the ideal choice for passengers who are looking for a world-class travel experience with a small-town feel and convenience.
Paine Field's new passenger terminal will provide service that is superior to larger, more hectic and often overcrowded commercial airports. New technology and modern conveniences will make flying into and out of Paine Field a simple, enjoyable and streamlined travel experience. Paine Field is the airport of choice.
Completed in 2008, Silver Comet Field is strategically located in metro Atlanta, in the heart of one of the country's largest aerospace industry hubs with 160,000 aerospace professionals in the metro Atlanta region alone. Silver Comet is centrally located between the Boeing and Airbus manufacturing facilities and only 20 minutes from the Lockheed Martin Marietta plant.
In partnership with Paulding County's leadership, Propeller Airports is developing an aerospace district around the airport with approximately 600 acres of permitted industrial development property, some with direct airside access for OEM, MRO and aircraft management companies. Silver Comet is also approved for the implementation of a Foreign Trade Zone on the airport.
Propeller Airports offers design-build solutions, with or without financing for long-term leases for companies that wish to leverage the workforce, the proximity to the world's major civilian and military airframe and related systems manufacturers. With available local and state economic incentives, the airport is also in the selected area for New Market Tax Credits.
Committed to the needs of the community and to support the continued growth of the region, Propeller Airports has begun the process of bringing commercial air service to Silver Comet Field.
